– kooky whodunnit set in the residence of the White House is very silly, and (mostly) the better for it. While it tries a bit too hard to be funny and almost always misses its mark, the attempt still cultivates a feel good, light hearted vibe, with interesting, relatable characters and a central mystery that keeps you hooked and speculating until its final few minutes. It’s not high art (though strongly satirical in places with a political punchline that hits hard), but it’s easy viewing, good natured and fun.
